Airstream Tour

In June of 2017, my partner Louis and I purchased a vintage, 1969 Airstream Globetrotter. It’s 21 ft. bumper to hitch, 17 ft. interior, and 7.5 ft wide. A grand total of 120 sq. ft.

We renovated it into our tiny home on wheels. Here’s a little glimpse into our home.

In the front of our Airstream we have a dinette seating area for eating. The table can come down and convert into a queen size guest bed.

In our kitchen we have a full-size sink, a propane oven, and quite a bit of storage. Next to our kitchen area, we have a closet for hanging clothes, dirty laundry, and our small vacuum.

In the back corner we have our bed. We store all our clothing in the cupboards and drawers seen here. We also have a large countertop, with our mini fridge underneath. We have 60 gallons of fresh water underneath the bed, as well as a 60 inch drawer for storage. Our grey water is in the frame of the Airstream.

Behind the door next to the bed is our bathroom. We have a composting toilet and a nice, tiled shower. We always joke this is the nicest home we have ever lived in because our shower is so nice.

We love our tiny little home so much. It enables us to chase new views out our front door. From mountains to lakes to the desert, we have seen it all.
